Eric has been around flowers his entire life. As the son of a florist, he spent his childhood playing and helping in his mother’s greenhouse. He got his first job as a gardener while studying at the University of Wisconsin Madison. In 2016, he moved to San Francisco and became the head gardener for several multi-acre estates. He moved back to his home state of Wisconsin in 2020 to be closer to friends and family. He continued as a professional gardener in the Madison area until 2025, when he started his native plant nursery, Eric’s Prairie. Eric looks forward to providing native plants to Wisconsin gardeners, and is excited to help the community build local habitat!
